Hes referring to the style of forum. This is the phpBB style and is pretty much the single most commonly used style out there. The official forums use freestyle or some such thing =P IMO it's not terribly important. But we're all used to our own thing it seems =3

phpBB is primitive as fuck coding. Everyone these days uses coding for message boards like the main site.

I can find you some alternatives and point you to where you can get hosting from, hell I can even remake this board with Invision's coding or Simple Machines. Admittedly, simple machines is phpBB, but it's more what I'm used to with the send button a tab away...I think, I don't remember. I haven't used SMF in a while now. :S

But phpBB is really old, like Linux old. Frogs is right, I am referring to how this board is coded.

Well, as for a quick forum, I don't see any harm in it as a coder myself..
but true.. it is really old.. It's just a messageboard so I don't think we'll need anything fancy web2.0 stuff in here.

yah~ HF is still under active construction and the colors have been the biggest pain in our ass so far~

we'll be changing the colors as soon as possible~ (but as for the moment, which part is hurting ur eyes? i'll do a quick fix for now until we can find something that is much easier to read~)

It's blindingly white.. I simply dim my monitor to make it less glaring though.. why are we discussing this in an introduction thread again?

quick forum is fine but keep 2.0 away from me.

I prefer modern BBS code imo, but that's just me. I'm contemporary.
