| Self explanatory.
Post gamertags, friend codes, whateverthefuck that relate to mecha games. MMO and Console games are allowed. Yes, "Console" means handhelds as well.
Sum suggestions. Might add more suggestions later when I feel like it.
Armored Core:
This is obvious. For PS3 and Xbox 360, 4 and For Answer are the latest and have online play that I know of for sure, but 4A is better in activity because most prefer it. Also, they have the fastest gameplay of the AC games, plus expect lots of boosting/flying and other shenanigans. The PS2 AC games are considered the slowest, but that doesn't mean we're going at 5 Miles an hour. AC2, AC2: Another Age, AC3, AC: Silent Line, AC: Nexus, AC: Nine Breaker, and AC: Last Raven are the PS2 ones. AC3, SL, and LR have been released on the PSP as well, along with a PSP-only game that plays differently than the others called Formula Front. Lastly, the PS1 Games. You could probably emulate those no problem, since PS1 emulation is less consuming than playing Cosmic Break. They're considered faster than the PS2 games, and have the strongest stats for the weapons than any other generation of AC games. Also, Caterpillar Legs are the slowest in these games, I believe. They're the starting point of the franchise, and it would be best if you played at least one of them. AC, AC: Project Phantasma, and AC: Master of Arena are the games in question.
Custom Robo:
Fast-paced action game series published by Nintendo. Includes tiny mechs that are figure-sized and controlled by someone with THEIR MIND. 5 Games released, with one of them I think was a side-scroller of sorts. N64 has Custom Robo and Custom Robo V2, which are easy to emulate. They were never translated, but getting through then should be easy. GBA had Custom Robo GX, which was a side-scroller, but was still fairly good in gameplay. GC had Custom Robo: Battle Revolution, but in English (or at least America) it was just called Custom Robo. This one had the ability to have 4 Players at once, which was fun, if anything. DS has Custom Robo: Arena, the latest-released game, and the only one (to my knowledge) to have online gameplay. Back to two-players, it follows a formula similar to the older games, but this doesn't make it any worse or better than the rest.
Also, a futile request, but does anyone else own Arena? if so, do you feel up to a few matches? If you do, I'll post my friend code in this thread.

| hmmm a brief list includes, AC, AC2, AC2AA, AC3, AC:Nexus, AC4, CB, SLAI, Front Mission 4, A couple of un-named pre-beta mecha games, the entire mechwarrior series, including mechwarrior competitors, heavy gear 1&2. As well as many more I can't remember the names of, I've been around mecha since their birth basically, =3
Of all of them though, only two were truly awesome. SLAI and HG2. Those were truly awesome and make all the others look like garbage by compare basically. xP

i would try a general search somewhere that hosts torrents, or hosts older games. Most games can be found in one of those spots if you know what you're looking for.

Everyone says 2 is better than gundam 1 but unfortunately, I have yet to acquire Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 yet T.T I need more beat-em-ups in my game collection. Oh and on a side note, they are making a third one.
