Maybe I should start charging people now

I've been building and fixing PCs for free for the past 2 years,
In the past 3 weeks I had to fix
2 Android Tablets
2 Blade Servers
Build 3 Gaming computers
All for free.

Should I start charging people?

Depends, are these people acquaintances or friends or just random people.
If these are random people then charge them. If not it would be kinda... Lame?

But if you need something go to them. They'll probably return the favor.

I agree with them.. personally I don't charge people. Unless they give something out of free will. It makes it easy to keep tabs on them later

I would say just charge for parts, as they can be expensive. If you're just building them as in putting together whats given to you, it depends... if they're a jerk definitely, if they're awesome don't. I use the old brownie points system, I figure if i'm nice enough to someone long enough, they'll return the favor in kind eventually. Conversely if they're a jerk to me, i'll just poke fun at them and be a bigger jerk, at least till they stop =P
