Is there a reason why the writers behind such works of fiction like to make me suffer? I just finished watching the first season of darker than black you see, and to almost no surprise, my favorite characters got killed off. I hate how the show played with me like that, made me hate em at first, and then right when I start to like them BAM!! dead.

So basically I made this thread in order to ask whether or not I should head on to the next season. I'm just not sure if I'll be able to like it as much.

I'd say no, it's really bad form to try and spend a large amount of effort pulling a U-turn on character development only to kill them off.
It's basically like saying to a 5 year old, "hey lets goto disney land!" *half way there*, "oh wait that's right i need printer ink". *turns around to go home, and later finds out disney land got nuked by bin laden*

lol just stick with the main characters

tbh, i never even took a look at the anime~

(it duznt seem like my type of anime)

but yah, i hate when anime writers kill off my favorites or when the main character chooses someone else to fall in love with rather than the one i think is right for him/her~

I have a lot of complaints. Like for example, the fact that plot devices/random stuff were just thrown in at random without giving a reliable explanation (future car and heaven/hell yin for example) and it felt like they switched main characters. I didn't like that. Wanted some more of Asian Batman's electric-awesome. Didn't get it.

Also, why would they give the guy his electricity, take it away from him, saying it happened before the beginning of season 2, and then show him using it at the beginning? Wtf Bones.

One last thing before I remain disappoint. How exactly did burger kun die anyways? The fuck did he do, smack a water droplet at high speeds?
