Bleedout

So has anyone else tried this yet? It's a third person shooter with a full craft system that lets you build armor, weapons, modules to improve weapons, skill boosters, and stat boosters/healing items.
The game is based in a post-oil world, where the entire world's oil supply has been drained to nothing. Basically all the governments collapsed and anarchy ensued.
The story is fairly interesting as the world is really detailed and very bleak. That is to say you really feel like this world you're in got hit by an epic disaster along with a few nukes here and there.
As far as gameplay is concerned it's pretty awesome, there is a full PvE system with numerous game modes, all of which are easily accessed by hitting tab and clicking an icon. The PvP is pretty awesome as well, with team battles, free for alls, gang wars, and prison riots!

Let's not forget to mention the skills. At first you only have a few skills, but every few levels you'll quickly gain three or four more, up to a grand total of 41 skills that anyone can mix and match. At will, worried about losing points? no problem it's easy AND cheap to reset ANY skill points you've used, and it doesn't cost real world money either.

So come try it out with me, the game is fairly new, but it seems to be growing quickly.

No problem wolf, oh if you want some nicer starting weapons I suggest you pick up the gunsmithing profession, the good news is weapons don't have levels. So you can make good stuff even when you're just starting off. hmm, we should add a section for this so I can post guides for what I've learned so far, haha.

A real plus about the weapons btw, you can buy cheap store versions that are exactly the same as the crafted ones. The only difference is the store bought ones have one or no slots at all for add ons. Add ons are huge in this game btw :3 it's the real reason you want to craft guns.

servers been havin issues lately wolf, it's more likely not a problem on your end. Just keep trying and you should be able to get through xP

me thinks you've got a bad source then, or else a whacky antivirus program. Mine downloaded just fine, are you using the torrent version or?

The official downloader...

I'd be willing to bet your antivirus is blocking one of the major files then if it says corrupted. <.< although it probably wouldn't hurt to try the torrent version, it may take longer but it works in pieces, so if it really is a connection issue then that's the only solution I can think of besides getting a better connection x)

I actually didn't active the anti-virus that time since it is still on updating and still updating and dating now... :v
