So I was thinking of entering the fan art contest on the main website and thought I'd also post my hand drawn pics here ^.^



First is my pic of crim, and before you ask, the boobs were done last, so they just kinda filled up the space =P



And second is my Laz pic, I think shes adorable like this, and when placed side by side she almost looks like shes about to kiss crim. =o I never knew Laz felt that way about crim! I guess everybody loves her huh? x )

Those are pretty good. I wish I was capable of drawing.

I actually combined the two because neither was 800x600, portraits end up being somewhere around 450x600 x.x

Not bad, my only complaint would be the faces, but thats your style. I like them regardless.

I thought the faces were pretty accurate compared to the originals, I prefer them more round, but if I did that they wouldn't look like the originals O.o unless of course you mean something else. =?

You just need to find a photo of what you wanna draw, then try tracing it, and from there its muscle memory, your hand will remember drawing the face and the body and just roll with it. Everyone I know who says, "I suck at drawing" tries to do it from scratch which really doesn't work out well, see my thoarla xP awful on the bottom half. gegege x.x had no photo to work from on that.

Example, look at the pic above, and compare it to this one. The one it's kind of actually based off of, and also the one i was drooling over as i drew it. x)

Meh hes mad xP lol, idc. No really, I don't care, I gave up on that bullshit loooong ago. I haven't been to either CB forum in weeks. Too many whiners. I continue to draw but nobody will see it, they don't deserve it.

Oh and if you mean the black and white, I'm actually colorblind. So it'll look like shit if I try it on the comp.

Edit:udate:wtfev/: xP it might take a while to complete this next one i'm working on, as it's not actually a cb character. It's just off the top of my rather insane head that and i have 5 college classes to work on at the same time.

True, in college I can sit in the back and draw while I listen to the professor go on about how much he hates his wife's cats and is praying she runs out of holidays to name them after.

I had a teacher who made a competiton for who could draw the best dick.
but then I go to a all boys school
And that teacher got banned from teaching in girls' schools.

If you need some sort of visual reference, I'd recommend you refer to mark crilley's videos on youtube =]



In this video he mainly talks about facial features and placement, I followed some of his techniques and my end product was fairly decent. (I'll add the pic of mine later, although it's more or less a copy of what he did in the video) He offers some useful tips, and he has plenty of videos for different things, like hand details, body proportions, the works! After you've found your own style when drawing then all that's left is a little imagination =D
